Mastering the Gradebook on September 21st
The Mastering the Gradebook webinar will provide you with an overview of the most useful tools in the QuickSchools’ Gradebook module. We will start with a 5-min review of basic Gradebook activities, before moving on to intermediate and advanced topics. Key discussion points include:
- Gradebook basics: adding columns and formulas, and grading (re-normalizing and weighted grades)
- Configuring the Gradebook settings: icons and optional tools
- Transferring grades from Gradebook to Report Cards
- Alternative grading: Standards-based and Self-paced
You will leave the webinar with the skills and confidence to explore more sophisticated Gradebook tools on your own.
Communicating with Students and Parents on September 28th
Our second webinar in September is crafted to help teachers effectively communicate with students and parents. We will demonstrate the various communication tools available in QuickSchools, including:
- Emails and Comments from Gradebook
- Class / Group Discussions
- Chat for Assignments
- Attendance Notes
- Mass Messaging
- Private Messaging
Discover how you’ll be able to easily provide feedback to students on assignments, as well as maintain an open communication channel with parents.
Both webinars are suitable for all levels of users (from beginners to advanced). We also designed our webinars to be interactive. Post questions and answer polls during the 30-min presentation session, and discuss topics further during the follow-up, 30-min Q&A session.
