Subject Selector for Assignments

We’ve added a new Subject Selector on the Student Portal, to make it easier to find Assignments:

Filter Assignments by Subject in the Student Portal

Chat on Assignment

We’ve added the ability for teachers and students to chat directly on an assignment (similar to Class Discussions):

Teachers and Students and discuss assignments / submissions online

Email from Gradebook

Teachers now have the ability to send emails to parents/students directly from the Gradebook, and include information from the Gradebook in the email. Start by clicking on the new mail icon:

Send Email directly from the Gradebook

You can then craft the email that gets sent out:

Custom emails that are sent from the Gradebook

Mass Message by Relationship

You can now limit which parents receive Mass Messages based on the parents relationship to students:

Filter Mass Messages to Parents based on their relationship to the student

This needs to be enabled on when you configure the “Messaging” feature under “Settings” > “Turn Features On / Off”:

Enable Messaging Filter by Parent Relationship

Do let us know if you have any questions about these new additions. We’ll be posting more in the coming weeks. And as always, please share your suggestions and feedback, so that we can improve our product/services further!

  1. Awesome, where can I find the ability for teachers to synchronize their own gradebooks with Google Classroom? Is this referring to transferring Google classroom grades to Quickschool grade book.. Thank you!

    • Hi Alejandra,

Thanks for asking. This feature is coming, likely in the next couple of weeks. The integration apps needs to be connected to Google Classroom centrally by an administrator. And the new functionality will allow teachers to pull grades for their gradebooks on their own, assuming the classes are mapped (so no need for the admin to pull the grades daily). We’ll have another article posted once this feature is ready for schools.

      Thanks!
