There are new improvements to the Lunch Ordering app that was released with the recent Sprint D15, which are discussed below:
- Fulfilling Orders
- Managing Orders
Previously, you were only able to fulfill orders ONCE. So if you clicked on the “Fulfill” button prematurely, you would not be able to process any new orders. The original idea was that you’d only press the “Fulfill” button once when you’re ready to fulfill all orders anyway. With this new improvement, if you accidentally pressed the “Fulfill” button, and new orders come in, you’ll be able to see how many have been marked fulfilled, and how many are pending:
Just click on the second “Fulfill” button (in grey) to process new orders for that day.
Since you can now fulfill orders in batches, it makes sense to also manage orders in batches as well. So when you click on “Manage Orders”, there is a new column that shows the status of each order. So you can see which order have fulfilled, charged, or simply submitted (and pending):
If you have any other suggestions for improving this app, or any other app/module in QuickSchools, please reach out to us. We look forward to you feedback.
