With the recent release of our new QuickSchools App Store, we’ve also released the long awaited Fundraising and Donor Management app called FundRabbit. Here are some of the things you can do with the initial release of FundRabbit:
Create and Track Fundraising Projects
Create and Track Donors
Create and Track Donations Pledged / Received
Create Reminders to stay in touch with Donors.
The FundRabbit app should be fairly straight forward to navigate. And as always, we welcome feedback for improvement. Here are some screenshots of the initial release:

QuickSchools.com is a fully online school management system that allows schools to more effectively communicate with parents and students via an online portal. Parents should log into their QuickSchools account frequently to get the latest updates on a student’s progress, as well as to check in on latest announcements and events. If enabled, Parents can also interact with teachers and students via the Parent Portal as well. Check out our Online Class Discussions and Private Messaging features.
Here are some tips about accessing your QuickSchools account:
Logging into QuickSchools
You should have received an email invitation from your school with your username and password, along with a link to your QuickSchools account. Every school has a unique link, so feel free to bookmark your schools QuickSchools URL on your browser, so you can access it easily later on.
QuickSchools Login is specific to school
Supported Browsers
Since moving to HTML5, we currently do not support Internet Explorer 8 and below. If you’re using Internet Explorer 9 and above, you may need to clear your browser cache from time to time. We highly recommend accessing your QuickSchools account using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You can download them here:
You guessed it! Just like the title says, our QuickSchools Lesson Plans module now supports custom fields. When creating a Custom Field, it is currently school-wide. Here’s an example of what your Daily Lesson Plan can look like:

Just a quick reminder, you can only select a subject for the Lesson Plans, if you have the Homework module turned on. So with the Homework module turned on, once you’ve linked the Lesson Plans to a subject, you can then post homework assignments to that subject from the Lesson Plans:Read More »
This article is a school admin cheat sheet of sorts, and describes a list of areas that school administrators need to know when rolling out QuickSchools for the first time:
Clearing Test Data from the Test Drive
Importing and Setting up Teachers
Importing and Setting up Students
Setting up Modules and User Access (via the Features Page)
Setting up Subjects and Enrollment
Introducing QuickSchools to Teachers
Introducing QuickSchools to Parents
Clearing Test Drive from the Test Drive
When you first sign up for a trial, you probably used the Test Drive feature to try out some of the modules. The Test Drive is designed to quickly show you how the modules work by creating sample test data. And now that you’re ready to use real data, you’ll want to remove the test data, which can be done quickly and easily.
QuickSchools Test Drive
To remove the test data, simply go back to the “Getting Started” page and click on the “Clear test data” link (just below “Step 2”). Note that this will also remove some of the menu items along the top (if you had originally enabled the module via the test drive). Not to worry. If you want to use these modules, you can turn them back on via the Features page.
Clear Test Data
One final step: Since you’re probably done with the Test Drive feature anyway, we recommend removing the page completely by clicking on the “Remove this Getting Started page” button (just below “Step 3”).
Importing and Setting up Teachers
If you haven’t done so already, you should either import or enter your teacher information manually. The most important information to have is the teacher’s name and email address. Although you may opt to invite the teachers later, it’s important to give teachers access quickly, so that they can start getting familiar with QuickSchools right away. You’ll need to set up teachers before you can continue with many of the remaining steps. To learn more about importing teachers from Excel, click here:Read More »

You heard it right! You can now create a template of Gradebook columns that you use often, and then very easily copy it into other subjects. Templates can be shared with other teachers as well. Here’s how it works:
Access the Gradebook templates from within your Gradebook by clicking on the Gradebook Templates icon on the right:
When communicating with parents, there is this notion of passive vs. active communication. If you think about social media like Facebook and Twitter, you don’t necessarily get an email notification whenever somebody posts an update. Instead, you can log in as frequently as you like to get a snapshot of recent events. This could be daily, or at the end of the week. But at any time, you can drill deeper into specific events. However, you still get notifications for events/activities that may require immediate action, like a Private Message, or an important announcement.Read More »
