This survey in particular is to help guide the development of the Online Learning capability we are building within QuickSchools. We hope you’ll continue to participate in future surveys.
We wanted to give you guys a quick summary of the results of this survey, and share our plans moving forward.
There were several commonly requested improvements, such as:
- Support uploading of larger files
- Ability to preview files on screen (instead of downloading them first)
- Improve notification and messaging functionality
- In-Screen video playback
- Online Quizzes
Due to the high demand of these features, we will be working on these improvements first.
We also received feedback on providing more advanced features. These features are more involved, but will be looked at over time. These include things like a Dashboard for teachers, and ability to copy / repost assignments across classes. We’ll work on these as well, but these types of requests will likely take a little longer to address.
We also received feedback on features that are actually already available. This includes things like:
- Commenting on posts on Class Discussions
- Chatting with students about assignments
- Video Calls
- Resubmitting Assignments
Most likely, since many of these features are new, perhaps they are not as straightforward as we’d like them to be. So we’ll be refining them over time, and making them more visible. We’re also going to announce these features more prominently on our blog, and maybe do a webinar on them, as part of our new Webinar Series. Keep a look out for that.
So in summary, thank you so much for the feedback that you’ve provided us. You can expect continued improvements in our Online Learning capability. But also, you’ll be seeing more information about Online Learning on our blog as well as in upcoming webinars.
