In our last webinar, we went over how to customize beautiful Report Cards in QuickSchools. The Transcripts module is an extension of that framework, and can also be used to create professional-looking transcripts that convey your school’s brand and image.

Visually Intuitive Interface
Use the Transcripts menu to see how the transcripts look like BEFORE printing anything. You can make changes directly to the transcripts, by clicking on fields, and updating them. You can even hide subjects that you don’t need.
Selection of Templates
We have a library of templates to choose from depending on the type of school you run:
We have templates that handle various scenarios, including:
- High School
- College / University
- Vocational / Adult Education
Don’t see a template you like? Send us a sample of what you’d like your transcripts to look like, and we can recommend one to you. We may have a hidden template that we can simply share with you. If you have something completely unique, we can build new templates to specification for a fee.
Configurable and Customizable
Once a template is selected, you can hide unneeded sections, relabel fields, and even change the colors.
You can also configure how grades are displayed, whether it’s one grade for every term, 4 grades per year (by quarter), 2 grades per year (by semester) or a single grade per year. Depending on the number of terms you offer per year, our system can aggregate the grades, so that it displays as a single grade per year, or 2 semesters per year.
We also support custom sections for things like Credits by Category, Tests & Assessments, Extra-Curricular Activities and Community Service. You can rename these sections via the “Customize Template” function, to repurpose the section for your specific needs. Records would need to be entered directly into the Transcripts, on a per student basis. Some sections (like Tests & Assessments) support adding of records for ALL students via the “Customize Template” function. Records would then be edited on a per student basis.
Note that although several of the ready-made templates support sections that you can rename and repurpose, you may need a custom template to handle your specific use case, especially if you need more columns than what is readily provided. You can check in with our support staff on what’s readily available, and whether you need a custom template. Some training may be required to get the most out of this type of template.
This is something that requires a custom template. If you have something that you need calculated and displayed on your transcript, which can later be reported on, this is likely something we can help you with. Please reach out to our support team for more info. Note that custom templates may incur an additional cost.
Powerful Administrative Features
Finally, we have powerful features that make it easy to manage your transcripts:
- Bulk Download / Print Transcripts
- Enable students / parents to view transcripts from their portal
- Reporting via the Report Creator
- Easily add historical data
Although grades from the Transcripts are automatically pulled from the Gradebooks, and you can import historical grades via the Gradebook, you can also add historical data directly to the transcripts.
