Today’s QuickSchools release focuses on the Orchestra Master Scheduler, with general improvements to the Student Information System. 

The full list of improvements is included below:

Master Scheduler Improvements

  • New Enhanced Room Management module (Beta)
  • Refactor Year-Long and Next Course Functionality
  • Auto-Drop Section Enrollments when Student is deactivated
  • Auto-Delete Section Enrollments when Student is deleted
Enhances Room Management for Orchestra Master Scheduler

General Improvements

  • Shortcut to multi-select values from a dropdown
  • Improve Sender Email when sending emails via QuickSchools
  • Improve how grade levels are linked between semesters
  • Bug Fix Gradebook Import with decimals
  • Bug Fix Report Card Indicator for over-written grades

Beta Improvements

  • Improve support for Complex Names (i.e. separate First / Last names)
  • Allow Section Name to be set/updated under “Courses & Sections”
  • Enhanced Security for QuickSchools Support Staff
  • Miscellaneous improvements to the SFTP App

Multi-Select from Dropdown

We made a small improvement to all our dropdowns. For fields that accept multiple values, you now hold down the SHIFT key while selecting values from the dropdown:

When you do this, the dropdown list will remain open, so you can quickly make multiple selections, without having to click on the dropdown again to reopen it.
