What you need to know
ALL EMAILS sent through QuickSchools will use QuickSchools.com in the Sender Email Address.
This change is primarily in response to Google and Yahoo beefing up their policy for handling spam. This change also improves email deliverability – emails sent from QuickSchools will no longer appear in the spam folder.
In addition, emails sent through QuickSchools will still have the original sender’s email address in the “Reply-To” field. This means that when a recipient of your email clicks “Reply”, the email will be directed to the original sender.
We are still working on the ability for schools to use their own domain name in the sender address. If you’re interested in this feature, please let us know via email or chat, and we can contact you once the feature becomes available.
To summarize:
What is the change?
All emails sent from QuickSchools will use a QuickSchools email address.
Why is this change taking place?
This change is primarily due to policy changes made by 2 major email providers – Google and Yahoo. This change will also improve email deliverability.
How does this affect schools?
When sending emails, the sender email address will show QuickSchools.com, while the “Reply-To” email address will show the original sender email address.
Students and Parents should expect to receive emails from schools with QuickSchools.com as the sender. However, they can respond to these emails like normal, because the “Reply-To” field will redirect the emails back to the original sender.
Can I use my school’s domain when sending emails?
Unfortunately, we are still building support for schools to use their own email address. We will announce when this feature becomes available. If you’re interested in having this in place, feel free to let us know via chat or email.
