The Standards Based Grade (SBG) within QuickSchools has gotten a lot of traction this year. If you use standards or even criteria in your Gradebook, be sure to try it out.

In this article, we’ll be going a over a quick tutorial on how to move grades from one standard to another within an assessment. This might be the case if you accidentally created an assessment, and put in all the grades into the wrong standard. No need to delete the assessment and create a new one.
Summary of Steps are below:
- Open the Assessment
- Reselect the Standard(s)
- Transfer the Grades
Open the Assessment
Starting by clicking on the “Assessments List” on the top right. The list of assessments will show all standards being assessed for each assessment. You should immediately notice if an assessment is linked to the wrong standard:

As mentioned earlier, there’s no need to re-create a whole new assessment. Instead, just click on the assessment, to see the grades that were entered:

Reselect the Standard(s)
So the next step is to click on “Reselect Standards/Students” and select the correct standard to be added. Leave the old one there as well:

Click on “Next”, to get back to the previous screen.
Transfer the Grades
You’ll need to manually transfer the grades from the “bad” standard to the “good” standard:

Unfortunately, we don’t have an auto transfer feature yet, but we may look into prioritizing this if a lot of schools are requesting it. Once you’re done, just save the assessments, and you’ll see that the grades are transferred over:
