QuickSchools’ parent portal

August 19, 2009

Most parents appreciate the value of being kept up to date with their children’s education and their personal development. What better way to get the message across to parents than through a portal that aggregates details about their kids from all across the school?

Of QuickSchools’ highlighted features, the parent portal would have to be one of great value to schools. It genuinely helps school teachers build a strong relationship with the parents who want to be more involved in their kids’ development.

The parent portal offers an accumulation of details about each student for each term and year at the school. These details could range from end-of-term report cards and sporting activities to even certificates & prizes won at the school. Very useful for college applications.

Moreover, the parent portal allows for social interaction between the school and the parents, often informing them on upcoming parent-teacher meets and sport conferences.

Privacy isn’t an issue as each parent is given access to individual student records using their unique email address. All the school has to do is use the school management system to issue invites to their existing parent base.

This feature is being released in full force soon along with a string of other features such as Mass Parent Messaging.

As always, we appreciate your feedback on the features you would like to use on QuickSchools.
